    Asset Management Deployment Questions

     Hi, We have successfully implemented cSupport in it's most basic configuration.  I'm wanting to turn on the asset management piece as soon as possible.  In outr test immplementation, we noticed that the inventory scans were prety processor intensive on the cSupport server.  We have about 2000 computers on 53 subnets.  Do you have any whitepapers or best practices documentation that would assist us in getting this valuable feature enabled without crippling our server.

    Hi John,

    Congratulations on your successful implementation of cSupport!  That's great news.

    Regarding the asset management piece, there are a lot of variables that affect the performance of how the asset piece runs.  Unfortunately, we don't have any whitepapers or best practices documentation on that, but what I will do is have one of our chief support people give you a ring to talk over some different aspects with you. 

    We just completed a move into our new corporate offices and I know everyone is swamped right now trying to handle their daily workload and continue getting settled in so I can't really give you an exact time of when that call will come, but rest assured I'll make sure it happens as quickly as possible.

     Do you have any better of an idea of when I might hear from your technical support department?  I have not heard anthing from them yet.

    Hi again John,

    Following up on this thread a bit, I received a voicemail from our Senior Manager in Support today stating that he had attempted to contact you on August 11th via email (your email address is the only method of contact we have on file for you), but had not heard a response from you.  He attempted another email to you today, so hopefully you received that and can coordinate a call with him to address some of the topics you've raised.
