I've recently taken over support for a cSupport 5.6.2 install. We're looking to upgrade it to 7.x, but we'd like to try it in a "test" install first.
Is it possible to take a backup of cSupport databases from the production server and restore them onto the test machine? Or, is there another recommended way to do this?
I'm mostly worried about the test instance becoming a "branched" copy of the tickets and starting to send notifications, aging tickets, etc.
