    Add a Due Date Field

    We would like a due date field for tickets submitted.  This allows us to prioritise them more efficiently. 

    We have added a due date custom field, but we can not reference it in Views to sort tickets in this manner without opening the ticket to look at the custom field.

    Other than creating a custom view that displays the date field, there isn't a direct way to display what you are needing. The one view that is built in shows custom fields, but its sorted by ticket number.

    We are looking at ways to display data based on queries built by the user. If you were able to create and save a query that returns the information, would that fit your need? This kind of flexibility would give each user the ability to display what they need, that is specific to them, rather than rely on the predefined views.

    Hopefully the custom view builder in the current release will help until we can provide a more customizable view interface.
