I'm not sure i this is currently possible but i it isnt I would really like it to be.
I would like to be able to auto create server assets from an inventory scan (i know this is possible)
Then i would like to add all information about that server including sensitive information passwords etc.
Basically I would like to restrict assets viewable by groups. So helpdesk can view desktop pc assets but not server assets.
Currently I believe its just all or nothing. Some ine grain asset permissios would be great.
This would be extremely valuable and is the only thing stopping me from using this as our main information store for servers.
