I have recently set up the inventory scanning which works nicely.

The only issue i am having is that computers are appearing more than once in the standard views for example:

Asset - Inventory scans by domain has a computer listed 7 times.

It appears to be related to how many network adapters that has been picked up on the machine.

Is there any way of changing this default view to stop any duplicates appearing.

That is an excellent question.  Because of the complexities and fluidity of any given companies' network environment, Asset-related views do often times have some redundancy in what they report.  For this purpose we include a number of views in c.Support for looking at your assets, two of which will aggreggate the scans by machine name.  Perhaps try the views "Asset - Inventory Scans by Machine Name & Software Title" and "Asset - Inventory Scans by Machine Name & Hotfix." 

Further customization of any view definition is possible, but would necessitate a discussion with GWI's Professional Services Team.

Yes "Asset - Inventory Scans by Machine Name & Software Title" works nicely i have not seen any duplicates in there.

It was mainly to see the machine total for what has been scanned but i have found a view which is close enough in "Asset - Inventory Scans by Operating system" then i just add them up.

Its working nicely though i am very impressed so far.

It would also be useful to create reports using the sql ad-hoc report builder which i think i will contact the professional services team about.

I do know that Development is working on rolling out more data models to further enhance the SQL report builder, and will do that in subsequent releases as their bandwidth allows.
